We had 10 guests staying. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. The sofa bed was not as comfortable. The house was a little crowded with 10 people, but that was part of the fun. The amenities included in the house were great: granite counter tops, lots of cooking utensils, high speed internet, wide screen tv, free long distance, tvs in every bedroom. Mark was very easy to work with. The location was great, too! We would recommend this house to anyone.

Mark, Thank you so much for extending your fantastic beach pad to us. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. Everything was perfect. The house is so well equipped that it immediately makes your guest feel right at home. It was all in the details, from games and movies to top of the line appliances and supplies. I will forward pictures to you this week! We will definitely suggest it to everyone and we definitely be back when its warmer! Next time you will have to join us for a cocktail. Thank you so much! I really liked be able to cook our meals and do laundry (crazy, I know), but it really saved money. So relaxing. The location is wonderful. Suggestion: get a couple of luggage racks for suitcases in the rooms. Also, we wished there had been some sort of rack or closet on the main level for hanging up coats and stuff...
The house was very nice, comfortable, clean, well kept and very well equipped! There was nothing we lacked and it had more than we expected. It is a beautiful home in a great location. There is nothing more we could have asked for. We would recommend it.
We all know how hard it is to get family together in the same place WELL with the Ultimate Beach House it is not only possible but all you need to bring is family and food. This house is so well stocked from two coffee pots to extra pillows, TP and detergant. We really wanted for nothing. The family meals all cooked on new appliances and plently of flat ware made it just like home only with the beutiful beach at the front door and plently of entertainment at the Wave House/Big Dipper. The pictures are 100% accurate and the beach house is literally steps to sand and surf and a stone's throw from Belmont. We stayed with family friends and had 4 adults and 5 kids (all under 6 yrs) in total. The family friendly condo accommodated us all. Oceanfront Walk is bustling and busy, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper and sound machines for the kids. The view from the living room and master bedroom are gorgeous. The 2 queen bedroom backs on to the alley and the bed closest to the window can be loud. Condo is narrow, so there are lots of stairs, so it's not suited for anyone who has problems going up and down stairs. Parking may be an issue if you have a big car or if you have two cars for the very narrow single garage (as are all garages in Mission Beach). We forgot to move our car one evening from the Belmont parking lot (overnight parking not allowed) and were towed ($250+ ticket)...oh well! Street parking may be hard to come by and is patrolled. Note that the bunk-bed room is on the top floor (lots of stairs) and that there is a skylight right above the top bunk, so it may be very bright and difficult for kids to stay asleep in the a.m. or for afternoon naps. A covering for the skylight would have been useful. The linens on the bunk bed while clean could be replaced. There are ample bathrooms in condo, but only one bathtub in master bedroom as listed. Condo was pretty tidy (floors could have been cleaner and sectional could use a vacuum, especially under the cushions) and the fish tank was a nice touch. Kitchen is well equipped with plenty of utensils, pots and pans and dishwasher detergent (although could use some dish soap and dish rack). The LG washer/dryer was definitely put to good use. There were lots of clean towels and the outdoor shower on the side of the condo was handy for coming in from the beach. Mark was very easy to work with. Check in/check out procedures and online booking and payment were super convenient. Mark also coordinated with the baby rental company (Toddler's Travels-highly recommended) we used to set up the rental delivery. The condo is well maintained and upkeep seems constant (they seemed on top of all repairs). The condo is located in a great, central location for pretty much all places of interest in SD. We had a fabulous vacation and enjoyed the beach and the views every day we were there.
The house was absolutely perfect...plenty of beds, plenty of space, right on the water, close to everything we could want. Mark was an absolute pleasure to deal with, extremely accommodating, friendly and professional. We really couldn\'t have been happier with the rental, and I\'ve alredy recommended it to several friends!
I'm not the type of person to leave feedback, but I liked this place so much all the rooms were heavenly and the beds and furniture were more comfortable than my own home. This was the best vacation even though I got really sunburn!!! And I'm coming back!
My husband and I took at least two years of planning searching for the right place for our 50th wedding anniversary. We are so glad we found the beach house of our dreams right as we were making invitations for our anniversary. We found the home via VRBO and the owner of the house was real helpful to us, he even helped us get a limousine for the anniversary night. I have so many great things to say about our greatest anniversary experience ever, everyone arrived at these luxurious beach houses easily, some of our 23 guests complained about parking, but we comfortably accommodated all of our guests between the two beach houses, we had plenty of space for food, a great music player, and we were even able to make their front patios into one big oceanfront patio to make this a great experience for everyone. We are very happy and thankful for your hospitality. Thank you!
We arrived in California for the start of our vacation to where people there called Sunny San Diego. We quickly realized what people meant, it truly was the most beautiful weather most of us had ever experienced. The sun shined all day, the people were wonderful, specially Mark the beach house manager who made check-in & check-out super easy, and to top it all off that relaxing sea breeze together with the comfortable home feeling was beginning to make our vacation even better than we had expected. So the first thing we did was park inside the house's garage, left our stuff in the car, took our shoes off, and went straight to the house balcony to discover the beach was right there a few feet from the house front patio! We spent more time relaxing at what my two cousins called the best place they have ever stayed. We have already recommended this to our friends and are preparing to book it again a year from now. Thanks so much from our group!
This place was completely perfect for staying right at beach in San Diego. I've traveled the world and been on many vacations, this was one of the best to date. We were happy to have the beach, music and fine dining within walking distance. One of my favorite things to do while at Mission beach was walking to breakfast in the morning, then walking back to the beach area in front of the house where we relaxed under the sun most of the day. There was a very strong breeze most of the time which we totally loved, it was a relaxing and cool breeze which made our stay extremely serene, and one that I will never forget. I strongly recommend this truly awesome vacation house. I already miss the pretty sunsets & next time I'll bring more people with me to share this place with.
